From Carla to Cindy,

I am blessed and highly favored to be born into a family of a warrior, much like David, who faced many battles while growing up. From helping to raise two younger siblings (me and my brother) to changing diapers to cutting hair to washing clothes to cooking meals to standing in as a parent at our Parent-Teachers Conferences, she put her social life on hold for the sake of her siblings. Not only did this mighty warrior take on the task and responsibility of being a true big sister, she faced several other challenges including winning a case against a giant corporation when others felt it could not be won. With the word of God, faith, and the Lord on her side, she won. Today, she's the mother of two beautiful children - Jade and Justin. She's a great mom (in part due to helping raise us). With the help of the Lord, she's still winning her battles. I love my big sister, Cindy. As long as I can remember, she's always been there for me. She's one of the most giving persons I've ever met. Her generosity has been and continues to truly be a blessing to so many. Here's to the second greatest mom (after our mother), Cindy. Love you.....
